LA JOLLA COVE KAYAK ADVENTURES .After a short briefing, you don your life vest, receive your paddles, and then off you go with our guide. You will tour the leopard shark breeding grounds, the shear escarpment of the north face sea cliffs at La Jolla, Sunny Jim's Cave, the Clamshell, and off into the kelp forest. Protected since 1929, the La Jolla Cove Ecological Reserve is one of the most scenic kayak locations on the west coast. Sea lions and harbor seals frequent the reserve and a close up encounter with these beautiful mammals is a high point of any kayak adventure. Later you relax with a sack lunch and soft drink provided as part of your adventure enjoying the camaraderie of your fellow adventurers and your guide. Your kayak adventure to La Jolla Bay will be filled with memories of a time spent in one of the oldest and most beautiful marine reserves in the western United States. Advance Reservations Required.
